Not the country, but the Jockey Club of Turkey has completed negatiations to purchase the Cryptoclearance son, Victory Gallop; for an undisclosed amount. The Horse currently is at stud in Kentucky.
“He is a proven stallion, and very good looking, and he has an interesting bloodline for us, which is different than the stallions we have had,” Konuk continued. “We all think that he might add great value to our broodmare stock, and hopefully his foals can become future stallions and good broodmares. Overall, we hope he will add a great value to our breeding program.”
The stock in Turkey is different form that here in the US. Chile has a long line of Horse history, but at Classic distances they are far behind the US. So Chile brought Victory Gallop to Chile in 2007 to breed. That may be change the in the next 3 to 5 years. Turkey could also be looking at better stock in about 5 to 8 years.
