The Destruction of Auto Racing

The Indy 500 is over, and there are some conclusions we can make. In general these apply to most sporting events, but racing seems to be suffering the most.

1. Eye Candy belongs on the sideline in skimpy bikinis or lingerie. They do not belong anywhere with a microphone pretending to be reporters. Anyone else tired of bimbos with microphones? I am.

2. The booth announcers are idiots.

“Danica with the fire that burns within her. The fire that burns deep inside of her.”

That idiotic comment was made after the ‘eye candy’ “interviewed” overexposed Danica Patrick.

Danica was ambushed while walking to somewhere, and made the comment that it was a good thing she was held back from ‘talking’ to a driver who she had a grievance with.

Ooooo I am so scared that Danica Patrick is gonna get all up in my grill. Pathetic.

3. Networks are clueless about “entertainment” or sports. The constant push to put women in positions of being announcers and interviewers because of their liberal “conscience” (read guilt), is ruining sporting events (among other things). This is an extension of the “doing good” mentality, which is them trying to fix us; since they believe we are broken.

I am so sick of no-nothing, airhead, bimbos, who are looking to move on anyway to a “film career” working as “reporters.” They don’t even take the time to get the basics of the sport they are covering memorized. Asshats.

4. Brent Musburger is a jackass, no-talent, overpaid clown. His desperate attempts to interject “drama” into the wrap up are more pathetic than his commentary during the race. Granted he is worse when covering football, however that does not make me feel any better.

Maybe we have too many broadcasts, period? Or is it that the lack of talent is more noticeable now that we have so many shows? Maybe it’s the lack of quality due to the liberal guilt promotions of un/under-qualified women into positions in front (and maybe behind) the camera that are causing thins issue.

Whatever the reason, watching sports these days is painful.

Golfcross: Golf meets Rugby

golfcross-ball
the golfcross ball — yes it’s oval

No I am not kidding. Some guy in New Zealand decided to that he could enjoy Rugby on the Golf Course. It’s called Golfcross. I have no clue why.

You can see a video of some “golfers” playing it here. They even have a site on the internet: Golfcross home page. This of course proves they have made it. This of course leads to a Golfcross Championship.

IOC sides with China

reporters-without-borders-handcuffs

Once again the IOC has sided with evil. Proving once again that they are out of touch, arrogant, and self-important. The IOC has modified it’s charter to make sure that athletes do not speak out against China. Interesting how they protect China, but not America. For that matter, any other country.

Proud Spell Clobbers Oaks Field

Proud Spell winner of the Kentucky Oaks
Proud Spell

Proud Spell won the Kentucky Oaks moving away from the field. From the final turn on in, it was all Proud Spell.

The wet track appears to have kept the field close, and the pace more like a grass race. It was close up until the final furlong.

Proud Spell rated off pace leader Bsharpsonata into the stretch run. That is when Proud Spell started pulling away from the field, eventually winning by 4 plus lengths.

Proud Spell went 1 1/8 miles in 1:50.01.

Harrah’s Screwing up the WSOP

As I have said on my other blogs, Harrah’s is a joke when it comes to management. This is just more proof of same.
