June 26th, 2008 — Basketball - Pro
So the “pre game” show has been on for 5 minutes, and I am ready to turn off the sound. So tired of each announcer trying to out do the others. Who can use the most effusive in their praise of Beasley, and Rose. Sickening.
Anyone think that Stephen A. Smith is just an annoying punk, besides me? So tired of clowns with a “real radio announcers voice” who get jobs because they are the right color.
Shut up Stern! And please shut that dumb porky blonde up, she is an idiot. Sickening how stupid the ESPN “eye candy” is. Not even Eye Candy, either.

Tom Duffy holding some Maple Bats he created.
Oh he didn’t say that, but that is what he meant. He says that a minimum price should be set for Maple bats so that bat makers will use the best ingredients. *ROTLFMAO* OK, Mr Econ; maybe you missed the 70s when wage and price controls sent us into stagflation. Idiot.

June 25th, 2008 — Poker
It seems that the poker crowd is trying to pussy-fy poker. What a shock. First is was no cussing at the WSOP, now they want to ban players who have a criminal record. At this rate the WSOP main event will be played by 50 people in 2010.

June 22nd, 2008 — Weather
Once again the government is demanding more control over our lives. Another fee here, another license there. It’s sickening.
NOAA has proposed a National license for all Saltwater Anglers. They so it’s so they can “more accurately track” the catch. First of all none of the states with licensing track the catch, so this is bunk. Second this is nothing but another power grab by NOAA.
I would suspect that the ‘Global Warmng’ nitwits have something to do with this. Is anyone out there tired of the Government sticking it’s snoot into every area of our lives?

Rocco Mediate, Tiger Woods at Trophy Presentation of U.S. Open at Torrey Pines — LA Times
Seems I am not the only one who is tired of “Tiger Worship”. Some people commenting on this article from BBC’s Ian Carter, seem to be just as annoyed as I am about it.

Rocco Mediate will play Tiger Woods on Monday in an 18 hole playoff for the U.S. Open title at Torre Pines G.C. in La Jolla California .
Tiger birdied the 72 hole to force a playoff with Rocco Mediate, after blowing a 2 shot lead to start the day.
If Rocco wins, he will be the oldest Major, and oldest first time Major winner in history. He will also break Tiger’s streak of having never lost a tourney when leading after 54 holes.
